Here is the introduction of our van, m’ohana!

We converted it two years ago between brothers. In fact, we have fitted it out. We made several trips from Belgium to Portugal, which went incredibly well with its layout.

At the time of its creation, renting was not our priority but due to our lifestyle, it is difficult to use it often so we decided to rent it now.

M’ohana is a 2004 fiat ducato, with 3 seats in the front. It’s a L1H2, which allows me to stand up (I’m 1m85 and I still have a little room). What is practical in case of bad weather. Moreover, its small length allows to fit on a normal car parking space, which is also very advantageous.

The furniture includes a bed* and a fixed kitchen, with a sliding table inside which allows to eat comfortably inside. The bed is high, which allows for plenty of storage space accessible from the back of the van. Other storage spaces are also present in the cabin.

** following advice from tenants, we have extended the bed. If necessary, the bed can be extended from 120 x 180 to 145 x 190 (visible in the photos).

M’ohana is autonomous in electricity. An auxiliary battery is attached to a solar panel and to the engine, which allows to have electricity all the time. A 220v plug is also present.

At the level of water, a 25l can is present with a pump inside, allowing to use the tap and have running water. The stove is connected to a gas tank. A fridge is also present.
