We are OceanCamper®, a little campervan rental in Faro!

This is our Bohemian Camper, Fiat Ducato year 2024, a cosy camper that offers you all the comfort of cooking, an outdoor shower and comfortable sleeping in a really spacious bed (200x180). Includes complete bedding for 3 persons, 3 towels, everything for cooking & dining,  a big electric fridge, solar panel, outdoor table and 3 camping chairs. There is plenty of space for your luggage, surfboards, and camping gear. The sleeping area has 5 windows, 3 of which are equipped with mosquito nets, to ensure you can enjoy the fresh air while you sleep.

CHECK-IN: **********************

• Check-in location: shop Ocean Camper, Faro, located 1.8km distance from Faro airport. You can reach us by Uber/Bolt, taxi or walking (20min).

• The regular check-in time is between 14h00 and 17h00.

• Check-in before 14h00: This is only possible if the van is available and cleaned in the morning. If so, you can check-in earlier for free. We will confirm this possibility the day before your arrival.

• Check-in after 17h00 (self-check-in):

  • A. Pick up your van by yourself in front of our shop, for free. All check-in documents and security deposit arrangements must be finalized in advance.

  • B. Self-check-in at the airport: pick-up the camper by yourself at the airport (extra 49€). All check-in documents and security deposit arrangements must be finalized in advance.

CHECK-OUT: **********************

• The regular check-out time is between 9h00 and 11h00.

• Check-out before 9h00 (self-check-out):

  • A. Leave your van by yourself in front of our shop, for free.

  • B. Self-check-out at the airport: leave the camper by yourself at the airport (extra 49€).

• Check-out later than 11h00 is only possible if there is no following booking for your van on the same day. We will let you know one day before the check-out if this is possible, and it will be free of charge. (Not available during summer time.)

In summary, this offer includes:

• The van, as seen on the photos from 2024, has 3 seats in the front, passenger airbag, AC, cruise control, electric window openers, a fuel-efficient diesel engine (manual transmission; consumption 6L/100km Diesel), 12V cigarette lighter socket, USB plug, one normal electric plug, and parking aid with rear view camera.

• Camping table & 3 chairs

• 100L water tank connected to the outdoor shower

• Outdoor shower

• Electric heater (the heater can only be used at the campsite when connected to electricity; otherwise, the battery will drain quickly)

• Radio: Bluetooth, USB, and Aux

• 3 Bath towels

• Bedding: includes 3 pillows, bed sheet, and 1 (or 2) double blanket/duvet or 3 sleeping bags. NOTE: there is only one king-size bed 1.8x2m. We can provide for free an extra single mattress to make a bedding place below the main bed. Ask us during the check-in.

• Body & hair wash and detergent for dishes (all biodegradable)

• Camping gas cooker (+ 4 gas bottles, costs 3€ each)

• Electric fridge 50L

• Solar panel + big lithium 2nd battery

• All necessary dishes, tableware for eating and drinking (plates, pot, cups, cutting board, knives, forks)

• Glasses & mugs

• Coffee maker: Moka pot

• Wine bottle opener

• 200km/night (add more km with extra insurance package, see below)

OUR REQUISITES:

• The driver must hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year at the time of arrival. Drivers under 23 years old are required to purchase additional YOUNG DRIVER insurance.

• Be a responsible & careful driver.

• Practice sustainable camping, leaving NO waste (trash or toilet paper) in nature.

INSURANCE OPTIONS:

• BASIC (price: 0€): Security deposit of 2000€; You pay max. 2000€ in case of a damage to the vehicle. Only one driver is permitted. Damages to glass and tires are not covered.

• ADVANCED (price: 19€/night): Security deposit of 500€; You pay max. 500€ in case of damages to the vehicle. Damages to glass and tires are 100% covered. Two drivers are permitted.

• COMPLETE (price: 29€/night): Security deposit of 200€; You pay max. 0€ in case of a damage to the vehicle. Damages to glass and tires are 100% covered. Two drivers are permitted.

• YOUNG DRIVER (price:10€/night): Driver(s) younger than 23 years old.

NOTE: The driver must hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year at the time of arrival, for all insurance packages.

EXTRA COSTS: **********************

• Used gas bottle: 3€

• Returned empty water tank refill: 5€

• Use of paid highways: one-time activation fee of 15€, plus driven tolls. If you want to avoid driving on highways, there is always an alternative road for free.

• Diesel tank not returned full for the check-out: 30€ refilling fee + the diesel costs + 23%VAT.
