📋 What you need to know before booking
Mileage
• 100 km/day included
• €0.30 per extra km, deducted from the deposit
Deposit: €1,000
• €750 refunded at check-out (assuming no damage)
• €250 held back for up to 10 days to cover tolls and any extra mileage (Via Verde is included, but tolls are only charged about a week after the trip)
Fees and penalties
• Standard cleaning: €30 (already included)
• Returning with a lower fuel level: cost of missing diesel + €15 service fee
• Extraordinary deep cleaning (toilet cassette not emptied, food left to spoil, undeclared spills): charged at real cost, with supporting documentation
🚭 No smoking — €100 fee if breached
🐾 No pets inside the camper
🌍 No international travel — the camper must stay in Portugal
🚔 Fines are the driver’s responsibility, even if they arrive after the camper is returned
Damages not covered by the insurance (renter’s responsibility): impacts with overhead structures, incorrect handling of equipment (electric step, windows, roof hatch, gas, fridge), loss of keys, off-road driving. Charged at the real cost, with a workshop quote.
