Travelling in Lucien is like travelling in a small rolling cottage. We have made it as cosy as possible to make it feel like home. As we want to travel in any season of the year, we decided to insulate it with all-natural materials. It also has a webasto heater connected to the diesel tank with a built-in thermostat. What about the water heater? We also thought about it, it's a 12V electric water heater. 

So Lucien has a nice shower area inside. The shower head can also be passed through the window if you want to wash with a nice view. The shower cubicle is relatively large and can be used as a storage or drying area if you are a water sports enthusiast for example, but does not have a toilet. 

As you can see from the photos, the bed is not fixed. We made this choice to have more living space during the day. It literally takes 2min to make so it never bothered us. The bed is 130x185cm. 

In the kitchen there is a large worktop plus a sink and 2 gas hobs. We also have a portable Omnia oven that fits directly on the hobs. You can make everything in it: cakes, quiches, lasagne, etc. 

And the storage space? Not under the bed but behind it, there are 3 large storage boxes (accessible from the back doors) and a large cupboard in which you can put kite, ski, climbing equipment,... Inside, there are two large shelves per person to put all your clothes. And lots of other shelves/cupboards for food, dishes,... 

And you don't know everything yet: Our van also has a terrace on the roof to enjoy the sunsets and the panoramas you will discover during your trip.  

Lucien is a fighting spirit. We travelled with him for over a year and he never failed us. Born in 2015, he is still very new and in great shape. He is not a 4x4, but with 160 rear-wheel drive and the all-terrain tyres we added, he has no worries about off-roading. But beware, it doesn't like sand too much... Don't underestimate its weight ;) 

Van adventures are the most beautiful adventures. The ones that will remain forever engraved in your memory. Travelling in a van means reconnecting with nature and rediscovering the small pleasures of everyday life. This is what we did for a year and now we lend you Lucien to live all these magic moments in your turn for a weekend, a week or more.
